Biography

Gabriel Rincon is developing a broad civil litigation practice in contractual disputes, administrative law, and class action defence. He has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal on complex commercial matters.

Before joining Dennis James Aitken, Gabriel clerked for six justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court, including the Chief Justice.

During law school at the University of British Columbia, Gabriel received awards for his academic performance, leadership in business, and oral advocacy. Gabriel was an active member of the UBC community having volunteered for a variety of peer mentorship programs and pro-bono legal clinics. He was also a research assistant in the areas of misrepresentation, mistaken payments, and government finance. As a lawyer, Gabriel now coaches the UBC B.C. Law Schools Moot team, the moot he participated in as a law student.

Outside of the office, Gabriel enjoys attending concerts, finding the best restaurants in town, and playing sports.
