Simon Lusztig

Biography

Simon Lusztig is developing a broad civil litigation practice, with a focus on complex commercial disputes and appellate advocacy.

Before joining Dennis Dawson James Aitken, Simon clerked for two justices of the Court of Appeal for British Columbia and articled in the Toronto office of a national firm with a leading litigation practice. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2023 and the British Columbia bar in 2025.

Simon earned his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, where he received multiple awards for academic achievement, mentored first-year law students, and completed a semester-long externship in the legal department of an international financial institution. He also competed in the Davies Corporate/Securities Moot. Before law school, Simon earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from UBC.

Outside the office, Simon enjoys watching professional sports, skiing, and following international affairs.
