Kelly Twa

Biography

Kelly Twa is a litigator with a focus on complex commercial disputes, along with constitutional and administrative law matters, including judicial reviews. She also acts as appellate counsel.

Kelly has advised and represented a broad range of clients including individuals, corporations, and government entities. She has appeared before superior and appellate courts in multiple jurisdictions, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Prior to joining DJA Counsel, Kelly practiced at an internationally focused litigation firm in London, UK. Prior to her time practicing in the UK, Kelly clerked for justices of the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and practised at a leading national law firm in Calgary.

In addition to her broad commercial practice, Kelly is passionate about pro bono and public interest advocacy.
