Canadian Broadcasting Corporation v. His Majesty the King and Named Person, SCC File No 40731

Scott Dawson acted as counsel for the intervener group – including Global News/Corus Television, Torstar/Toronto Star, Glacier Media and Postmedia – in an appeal by leave concerning public access to information about a trial conducted in extreme secrecy in Quebec in or about 2021. The appeal was heard by the Supreme Court of Canada in December 2023.
