May 21, 2026We are delighted to announce that The Honourable David Crossin, KC has received the TLABC’s 2026 Distinguished Jurist Award. David is a highly respected litigator and former jurist whose distinguished career has spanned more than four decades across criminal, commercial, and administrative law. He was counsel in many of British Columbia’s most complex and high-profile cases. Appointed to the Bench in 2017, Justice Crossin served until 2025 and has since returned to private practice at DJA Counsel.
Throughout his career, David has held numerous leadership positions within the legal profession, including serving as President of the Law Society of British Columbia, Chair of the Legal Services Society (now Legal Aid BC), and he is a Life Bencher of the Law Society. His longstanding dedication to mentorship, advocacy, and access to justice has made a lasting impact on both the legal community and the profession as a whole.
